We like to know how reading and English instruction helps our learners in their everyday lives. Please take a minute to share with us any accomplishments that they have recently achieved; reading a book to a grandchild, writing a grocery list, checking out books from the library on their own, voting in an election, recieved a better job, or sent a card to someone. If you have an ELL student maybe they spoke with their child's teacher in English, had a conversation with their neighbor, got their citizenship or got a promotion due to increased English proficiency. These are just a few examples. Please let us know about all the great things you and your student are accomplishing!
