Somewhere in Nashville right now, an adult is learning to read for the first time.
On November 7, the Nashville Adult Literacy Council (NALC) is gathering to celebrate the learners who spent this year quietly changing their lives, and the volunteer tutors who walked alongside them. We call it the Learner and Tutor Lunch, and it's the highlight of our year. Your donation helps support this event and NALC's programming.
Our 2026 Annual Learner and Tutor Banquet will be Saturday, November 7 at 11:30 am at the Honey Alexander Center in Nashville: 2400 Clifton Ave.
Doors will open at 11. Free lunch will be served at 11:30.
